To employ the current international teaching methodology in accomplishing the Nigerian curriculum, towards building a strong and unique education culture.

To provide an enabling environment that will awaken a child’s innate curiosity, creativity and unquenchable thirst for knowledge, thus preparing him/her to face the challenges of today’s world.

Parental Involvement

Parents being the first educators of their children are expected to be fully involved in their education.

At AlphaSmart, we ensure that is made possible by:

• Enlightening parents on school policies and procedures.
• Keeping parents well informed about their child’s progress on a regular basis.
• Encouraging parents to comment on the school and its policies.
• Providing up-to-date information on the school’s progress via regular correspondence and one-on-one discussion with parents.

Settling In

We appreciate the fact that parents want a secure environment for their children. Our experienced teachers provide a relaxing atmosphere for the children, making them able to share with their parents the new learning experiences in the school.

To accomplish the above, we will:

• Reassure families that their children will be supported in the school for as long as it takes for the to settle in.
• Encourage parents to visit the school with their children before admission.

Academic Team

The AlphaSmart School, with an ey for detail and all-around excellence has put together a team of qualified and well-trained academic staff to cater for every child’s intellectual challenge.

Sport/Physical Activities

Studies have shown that a physically fit child exhibits an improved stamina to study. In acknowledgment of this fact, AlphaSmart projects sports as an integral part of its education culture, ensuring that each child participates in all physical activities.

Pastoral Care

Although AlphaSmart admits children from diverse religious backgrounds, our school is founded on staunch Christian principles. The children are exposed to a strong God-fearing environment aimed at moral and spiritual uprightness.
